Animal Welfare Sunday 2010

item9This year, Animal Welfare Sunday is on Sunday 3rd October 2010.  Our theme this year is ‘Animals and War’ and we will be not only remembering all those animals that have given their lives serving alongside human beings in both the 1st and 2nd World Wars but also focusing on those animals who continue to serve and suffer as a result of the various conflicts around the world.

Animal Welfare Sunday guide booklets are downloadable here:

Our sermon notes for this years theme will be available in May and will again be downloadable from this site

Animal Welfare Sunday material can also be sent in hard copy by post if you would prefer.

Last year, our theme ‘Not Forgotton by God – Animals as part of God’s Community’ was very successful and hundreds of packs were sent out all over the UK and also to Europe, the USA and Australia.  The comprehensive booklet by the same title written by ASWA committee member, Mr Barry Miles is still available both as a download and in hard copy.
